The American University of Armenia completed the construction of the Paramaz Avedisian Building (PAB) in November of 2008. The PAB is located next to AUA’s Main Building, at 40/1 M. Baghramyan Avenue, and is a fully-equipped state-of-the-art educational facility that features a number of modern conference halls, auditoriums, conference rooms, seminar rooms, classrooms, a video-conference facility, an art gallery, and a tiered classroom for successfully conducting various conferences, meetings, workshops, corporate events, receptions, tests, and exams. These facilities are equipped with LCD Projectors, Folding Screens, Audio-System, Laptop Computers, Microphones, and other modern equipment.
PAB measures 10,000 square meters and was designed with environmentally sensitive solutions to better serve the university’s energy needs, such as incorporating innovations like a thermal flue to capture heat better in the winter and provide efficient cooling in the summer, as well as a solar farm to aid in providing energy year round.
