The AUA Main Building is located at 40 Marshal Baghramyan Avenue in the center of Yerevan. Originally constructed as a center for political education, the building was gifted to AUA in 1991 by the Armenian government and was fully equipped with lecture halls, auditoriums, cafeteria facilities, laboratories, library facilities, and offices.
Since its founding, AUA has undertaken significant renovations in the building to transform it to a Western-style University, and upgrade its capabilities to host multiple conferences and seminars. The building has solar panels on its rooftop, with a capacity of around 50 kilowatt hour (kWh) and photoelectric capacity of 5 kWh, which secures the continuous operation of the whole system.
