The AUA Extension offers preparatory, professional development, adult training and lifelong learning opportunities to meet the needs of the general public and private and public sector organizations. It operates with offices and classes in Yerevan, Gyumri, Dilijan, Yeghegnadzor, Vanadzor and Artsakh (NKR).
Center for Research in Applied Linguistics (CRAL)
Conducts and disseminates research on effective language teaching methods in Armenia and the region. Offers Experimental English Classes (EEC) for children ages 6-16 years and for pre-school children ages 3-5 years (Sprout).
Legal Resource Center (LRC)
Addresses the needs of a developing legal environment, emphasizing outreach, access to up-to-date information, community service, and economic development as the cornerstones of its scholarly research mission.
Engineering Research Center (ERC)
Conducts research in a broad set of topics in applied sciences and engineering. Recent topics have included alternative energy, industrial systems, cyber security, biomedical devices and computer-aided design and manufacturing.
Center for Responsible Mining (CRM)
Through research, training, and advocacy, promotes the creation and adoption of global best practices in socially, environmentally, and economically responsible mining in Armenia and the region.
Digital Library (DigiLib)
Develops a platform for the collection, digitization, preservation, and presentation to worldwide audiences of the enormous cultural wealth contained in the rich holdings of the Armenian national repositories around the world.
