Sylvia and Stephen Melikian Elevator Bay

The Sylvia and Stephen Melikian Elevator Bay is located on the ground floor of the Paramaz Avedisian Building. The elevators are the first area students approach when entering the building on their way to classes.

108W - Turpanjian Center for Policy Analysis

The Turpanjian Center for Policy Analysis (TCPA) was established in 1995 by the AUA School of Political Science and International Affairs (PSIA) with the central mission of promoting knowledge and understanding through objective and independent research and policy analysis employing the latest methodologies. TCPA provides students and graduates with opportunities to participate in multidisciplinary applied research in a broad spectrum of contemporary social, political, and legal fields concerning Armenia.

110W - Kevork & Cecile Keshishian Student Union

Students’ most favorite space on campus, the Student Union houses a large room with a kitchenette for socializing and student collaborations, a quiet room for studying, an office for meetings of the Student Council and the Editorial Board of The Bridge, and the Writing & Math Center. The space covers 300 square meters with the capacity of 150 persons.

114W -Turpanjian Family Foundation Classroom

114W is a large classroom located on the first floor of the Paramaz Avedisian Building. With a capacity of around 50 persons, the classroom is equipped with a projector, as well as a podium and internet connection.

133W - Virginie-Marie Hagop Bedros Baroudjian-Smith Conference Room

With full views of Mount Ararat, this elegant conference room is furnished with an oval-shaped conference table with a capacity of 20 persons with additional space in the room for another 20 persons. The room is equipped with audio-visual and teleconferencing facilities

106E - Alex and Marie Manoogian Hall

Manoogian Hall is a state-of-the-art conference hall equipped with an LCD projector, folding screen, stereo audio system, laptops,  microphones, a flipchart stand as well as WIFI access. The hall also contains two booths for simultaneous translation services.

114E - Armen and Isabel Bagramian Café

Run by the Green Bean, the Armen and Isabel Bagramian Cafe is widely used by students, faculty and staff for lunch and coffee breaks.

214W - In Loving Memory of Melanie Ookhtens (Մելանի Ուխտենց)

The 214W, named In Loving Memory of Melanie Ookhtents, is one of the largest classrooms at AUA located on the west wing of the Paramaz Avedisian Building.

217W - Avedisian Center of Business Research and Development

The Avedisian Center of Business Research and Development was established in 1992 to help foster the economic development of Armenia in its transition to a market economy, It is a non-profit organization and was supported through generous donations by the Ed Avedissian Family.

229W - Sirpuhe Philibosian-Conte Room

The Sirpuhe Philibosian-Conte Room serves as the faculty office for the Manoogian Simone College of Business and Economics.

233W - Craig and Joan Watjen Conference Room

317W - Engineering Research Center Room Donated by John and Aurora Minassian

The Engineering Research Center (ERC) conducts basic and applied research in technologies that are relevant to the industrial development of Armenia and its region.  These include: Information Technologies and Renewable Energy Resources.  ERC brings together teams of AUA faculty and local scientists and engineers, collaborating on projects funded internally and externally.

308E is a large classroom with 48 seats, including 2 desks with a total of 2 seats on the stage and a podium. Equipped with LCD projector, smart board, folding screen, audio-system, laptop, CD/DVD Player, microphones, flipchart stand, other modern equipment and wall-based connection outlets.

315E - Warren Markarian Seminar Room

With a capacity of 30 persons, 315E is a medium classroom located on the east wing of the Paramaz Avedisian Building.

409W - Dr. Krikor Soghikian Public Health Reference Room

Dedicated in October 1999, the Soghikian Reference Room houses a small but growing collection consisting of major Public Health reference materials, including copies of all MPH student theses and research reports prepared by the Center for Health Services Research. The library holds MEDLINE on CD as well as a number of other multimedia resources. The holdings of the Soghikian Reference Room are indexed in the AGBU  Papazian Library electronic catalog.

410W - John Varjabedian Room

410W is a faculty office located on the 4th floor of the Paramaz Avedisian Building.

413W - Judge Alice Churukian Altoon and Ronald Arthur Altoon, FAIA Classroom

434W - Akian Art Gallery

The Akian Art Gallery features a fantastic view of the city, and is designated for corporate events, exhibitions, and receptions. It can hold 40-80 persons, is equipped with LCD Projector, Smart Board, Folding Screen, Audio-System, Laptop, CD/DVD Player, Microphones, Flipchart Stand, other modern equipment and wall-based connection outlets.

414E-415E - Acopian Laboratory

This is a laboratory used solely by the Acopian Center for the Environment. It is a wet lab consisting of two interior areas, and contains lab equipment and a fume hood.
