Arminé Manukyan Humphrey
AUA Event Co-chair

Arminé Manukyan Humphrey immigrated to the U.S. from Armenia, after earning her master’s degree in education and human development from Yerevan State University. She received her second master’s degree in educational leadership and administration from the University of Massachusetts Boston. Manukyan Humphrey has served as the principal of Erebuni Armenian School since 2008. Under her leadership, the student body has increased from 28 to 175. She is an active member of the local Armenian community through her involvement with numerous organizations and committees.

While running the Erebuni Armenian School on weekends, Manukyan Humphrey also worked at EduBoston as a program manager for international students to help them with college access and oversaw pathway programs between private schools and higher education institutions. She established and maintained liaisons with universities, school districts, public and private local organizations, and state agencies to coordinate outreach efforts by post-secondary institutions.

Later, Manukyan Humphrey worked as an assistant executive director at Harvard University’s Microbial Sciences Initiative within the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. She organized inter-faculty workshops, seminars, and consortiums for scholars and speakers and spearheaded undergraduate research and fellowship summer programs, playing an integral role in the leadership of the Initiative through resources, implementation, and assessments.

In 2020, Manukyan Humphrey changed her career path and partnered with her sister in becoming a co-owner of Valentina Day Spa in Belmont, MA. She currently runs the Spa’s business operations.
